Using the Gift Card

Once a card is purchased, are there any limitations on its use?

The gift card cannot be used to pay for tips or other gratuities, or to make a payment against any account or loan. Also, it is not authorized to purchase a retailer gift card with the shopping.ca gift card. While most of the stores in our shopping centres honour the Ivanhoé Cambridge gift card, some have chosen not to participate in the program. You can consult the Stores section of your local shopping centre’s website for a complete list of participating retailers. A complete list of terms & conditions is available here.

Use Gift Card only at authorized merchants that accept American Express® Cards at Ivanhoé Cambridge Shopping Centres. No ATM use. Funds do not expire. Not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Additional limitations apply. See Cardholder Agreement for complete details. Card is not eligible for protection under any Zero Liability policy. Card balance not insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC). Card issued by Peoples Trust Company pursuant to a license from American Express.
